A year ago Daver Steels were involved in a now completed project to install a new balcony on the Aasta Hansteen spar platform in the Norwegian Sea. The first of it’s kind & the largest in the world, this floating platform is taller than the Eiffel Tower. We executed the fabrication & welding on the adjustable duplex compression struts, that are now in position supporting the balcony that provides a laydown area for crane access for heavy material handling to the mezzanine deck elevation.
